I got "Tagged"
Ok, so Jen tagged me.
Here are 6 things about me:
1) My favorite kids movie of all time is "The Neverending Story" and I'm reading the book now.
2) The first person I met at college was my friend Jack - I even met him before my roommate! He was a great friend to me and we did a political talk show together on the school radio station and we just got in contact with each other again for the first time since 2000!
3) I count "living somewhere" as "being there long enough to get mail" and I've lived in at least 20 physical dwellings (not counting the three separate rooms in college - it was all one dorm).
4) Mathematically speaking, from kindergarten through grad school I averaged 1.58 years per school in my lifetime.
5) I like to be neat and organized - but don't come to my house unannounced because it will be messy and dirty. If the main areas are clean, don't go near the bedrooms because they will be a disaster. I'm not saying that in the polite way that some people say that because they're modest about their houses - it's messy.
6) I absolutely despise Internet lingo and abbreviations and lack of punctuation and capitalization. "LOL" is not a word and neither is "gr8" and, for goodness sakes, learn the correct use of 2/to/too!
Ok, I have no one to tag because everyone's been tagged already.

Brian's Surprise Party
Brian's party went perfectly!! Everything was done in time and we got him to the church and he wasn't suspicious at all. I don't have the 'surprise' picture yet, but here are some of the party and of the scrapbook I made for him. Melissa really was the driving force to get everything accomplished and she made ALL the food! Without her, there would have been warm, half-empty bottles of soda left over from our fridge and a stale bag of Cheetos! She made the party awesome!
Brian with his Zelda game - a gift from Nicole and Dan.
Brian demonstrating the dance he did that his brother Steve mentioned in his submission to the scrapbook.......The Canadian Butt Swirl!!
Brian finally receives his scrapbook.
Brian tricked Ben and Derek into a reverse-birthday spank.....maybe you had to be there, but it was hilarious!
Brian with Derek, Johnny and Ben. Melissa and John are in the background.
Brian and John.
Brian's scrapbook. This is our favorite picture of him - when he was 5!
One of my favorite pictures of Brian - with Ben and Johnny.
Ryan, Emily and Joey - Ryan and Emily each contributed a sentence about what they liked best about their Uncle Brian. Ryan likes that Brian likes MonkeyBall, too, and Emily likes that he always plays with her.
Jenna and Jack - Jenna made the card for Brian by herself!
Joe's picture for Uncle Brian - he said it was "Spiderman 3".
Ben's picture - he knows his letters so it's "I {heart} U, U.B." (for Uncle Brian).
Amy drew Brian and flowers - and wrote her name by herself! I love the picture at the bottom of the page of Amy trying to do Brian's hair!
Pictures from game night and when we started dating.
Our engagement and wedding.
Our kitties.
That's Brian's dad and step-mom, Patti at the bottom of the page on the right.
The last page was saved for me.

Brian is Perfect
Just two more reasons Brian is perfect (for me)....
Flowers from our garden that Brian picked for me because I've had some really, really crappy days lately.
Brian making dinner - which he does ALL the time. Even when I've had time to do it, he likes to take the pressure off of me by doing everything or at least all the hard work.
Plus - you can see our dining room is yellow - all thanks to the hard work of my wonderful husband. I don't know what I would do without him!!

Hip Hip - Chin Chin - The Rhythm Section
First, yes, Cathy - we will visit as soon as we can. We miss Immanuel - even as we get more involved in things at our church here, there's always a sense of home at IBC.
Second, a picture of my new haircut - and you should be able to zoom when you click on the picture. (I figured that one out just for Kelly G.!)
Third, a picture with my new glasses:
They're one part librarian, one part socialist - they're totally me.
Fourth, I edited the pictures from my brother's wedding so they zoom when you click on them, too.
Fifth, I have pictures from the last time Brian and I saw Danicole - before they moved to the land of Many Sodas. These, too, should have the zooming function.
Dan in some of his army gear as we helped them pack up.
The newlyweds.
Danny up to something...
This is me with my sister-in-law...I mean, my friend....I mean, my friend-in-law...no! Oh shoot, this is me with My Nicole.
The Fearsome Foursome!
It usually ends like this.
(Yes, that's Brian's finger trying to go up my nose.)
My Brother! My Brother! My Brother and me! (sung to the tune from the "My Buddy" commercials)
